| Description problem/question: The implementation of modern knowledge of more environmentally-friendly production methods in the field of crop protection and fertilization is proceeding too slow in relation to government targets and the state of the environmental quality. In the context of an agreement amongst the most important stakeholders concerning crop protection a network of farmers study-clubs is used to test and evaluate this modern knowledge (Best Practices) as a basis for a broader use in practice. The experiences of the farmers are communicated mainly through activities that are developed working together with the farmers¿ chain partners (industry, advisors, etc). Objectives: The objective of this network of farmers and their partners is to stimulate the application of more sustainable farming methods for crop protection and fertilization. Results & products: Chances and bottlenecks for introduction of best practices crop protection and fertilization. Numerous events for and with farmers around these best practices, articles, etc. |
