The three key objectives are: - Enhancing learning capacity through the active application of action learning methods and tools within networks of researchers and practitioners addressing multi-stakeholder processes under a variety of socio-economic settings. - Developing capacity development materials addressing learning initiatives for effective multi-stakeholder process facilitation in complex societal transition processes. - Methodological insights on the analysis and support of governance arrangements at intermediate or landscape level in pursuing sustainable natural resource management strategies. Socio-Political science shows a growing interest in understanding the effectiveness of the institutional change processes as adaptive learning processes as it recognizes the complexity ( and uncertainties) of the issues at stake. Although the political reality does not always allow this social learning process among stakeholders to take place, promotion of best practices can assist in promoting dialogue and consultative processes to address these challenging situations in peaceful manners MSP and governance have the ultimate aim to increase the support and acceptance of social change processes in order to more effectively contribute to poverty alleviation and social economic equity.
