| This PhD project deals with the right to confidential communication, and the protection of professional privilege within the EU. The central topics in the research are to 1. systematically compare the way in which the protection of legal privilege is regulated and safeguarded in the EU member states 2. develop a proposal for regulation at EU level to protect lawyer-client privilege. |
