| The quality of examination is an increasingly important aspect in the accreditation process of a degree programme. The project Quality of examinations aims to develop a system that systematically guards and improves the quality of examinations within Open Universiteit Nederland. The main goals of the project are: 1. Improve the quality of the exams of the OUNL and at the same time start with the innovation of exams and item repositories of new courses. 2. Disseminate information on the quality of exams by means of a website. 3. Measure the quality of exams: data on quality are being stored in a general information system (the exams quality meter) which gives a systematic overview of the quality and allows to guard the quality. 4. Secure the qualilty of exams: the exams quality meter generates reports for examinators, deans and the Commission for the Examination, so that they can intervene when standards are not being met. |
