The goal of the project is to develop Artificial Intelligence (AI) that can compete with human being on the most difficult domains. For that task, we use the domain of the game of Go, which is considered by many as one of the most difficult game for AI. Is it possible that enhanced MCTS can outperform the strongest professional Go player in the world? This research applies the theory of Monte-Carlo Tree Search. By using a super computer, we aim at: - Showing that Monte-Carlo Tree Search scales well with computing power. - Making a Go program at the world's top level.
