Description:
Current conditional subsidy provision by the European Union (EU) Cross Compliance requires that the on-farm operational management is optimized for economical as well as ecological aspects, considering also animal welfare and working conditions. Wageningen UR has knowledge regarding the whole range of cross-compliance requirements. This knowledge can be applied formally in a decision-making supporting system for the farmer. Since the same requiremens apply to all EU countries, this is not limited to the Dutch situation, but can also be used at the European level.
Research objectives:
- To develop a conceptual model for the integration and translation of scientific knowledge and information (o.a. models and datasets) on different scales to deliver advice for the farmer.
- To disseminate the developed knowledge through scientific and applied fora
