| The focus within the field of animal production changes more and more from the quantity to the quality of products. Especially quality in relation with human health is of increased interest as consumers awareness of the impact of diet is growing. This project aims to increase understanding of the genetic variation in milk composition between cattle breeds. This will be achieved within a PhD study by integrating knowledge and techniques of quantitative and molecular genetics. |
