| There is a gap between the interests of a company s leadership and the individual interests of employees and middle management. Company interests cause a state of permanent change instigated by the company s leadership. This limits the organisation in a top-down way and seems to give little room for the autonomy of individual (or groups of) employees and middle managers. The core question in this research is whether an employee and middle manager in spite of this, is still capable of acting with self-determination? Can he and his colleagues achieve their ambitions, despite the limitations of the company culture? If yes, which instruments do they use? |
