| The main objective of this study is to investigate whether acute and chronic stressors are risk factors for cognitive decline in older persons. In addition, we will investigate whether the association between these stressors and cognitive decline is mediated by symptomatic distress, and whether this association is different for persons with and without adequate personality and frailty characteristics. |
