| Operational risk management in the financial sector, increasing insight into the knowledge economy in the education sector, and normal/abnormal changes in the aging brain in the health sector are key research issues. Objective of this project is to make use of common modelling structures that exist between dynamic multivariate time series models used in the three issues; for data on returns, panels of income and education, and functional brain connectivity (fMRI), respectively. A novel procedure for optimal Bayesian information processing will be extended, to obtain a reliable assessment of uncertainty or risk concerning joint future developments and treatment effects. |
