| We intend to investigate both the nature and the extent of neuroendocrine and metabolic abnormalities in patients with Parkinson?s and Huntington?s disease in order to elucidate the pathophysiology of some debilitating signs and symptoms (especially weight loss, sleep disturbances and autonomic nervous system dysfunction) in these disorders. This could lead to and facilitate the development of novel therapeutic modalities in the near future. |
