Description:
This project will be a continuation of a project that runs in 2009 and aims to clarify the environmental impacts to bio-degradable food packages. For some applications there is a clear environmental benefit, but the higher prices prevent applications. For three of those application fields the facts need to be presented to the involved entrepreneurs an discussions should be started to resolve implementation issues.
Research objectives:
This project aims to promote the use of biodegradable food packages by organic food producers in the Netherlands, by opening discussions with them, provide them with clear fact sheets and try to collaborate with them to resolve the various implementation issues.
