Description:
Representativity and other quality aspects of the FADN sample are essential for providing valid information on agriculture in the Netherlands and therefore all projects which make use of FADN data.
Research objectives:
The goal of this project is to apply a sound approach to the selection of farms to be included in the FADN, to evaluate the consequences of this choice on the quality of the sample, and give advices on the statistical use of data from the FADN. The sample covers agriculture, horticulture and fisheries.
