| Peripheral neurotoxicity is a serious side effect of several chemotherapeutic agents, which can be dose-limiting. This project focuses on clinical aspects of chemotherapy-induced neurotoxicity. Quality of life aspects of peripheral neurotoxicity are investigated in collaboration with the EORTC: a sub-module of the EORTC Quality of Life scale (the QLQ-CIPN20 ) has been developed in cooperation with several foreign centers. The questionnaire has been field tested. International collaboration has been undertaken to develop guidelines for the most optimal assessment of chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy, the Ci-PERINOMS study. |
