Abstract

The objective of this study is to improve the quality of care and outcomes for patients with anxiety disorders and depression and to acquire knowledge and insight into the effect of tailored strategies focused on the implementation of guideline recommendations for the recognition, diagnosis and stepped care allocation in primary care for patients of 18 years and older with a first or new episode of anxiety disorders and/or depression. The purpose of the project is to achieve better care with better outcomes through tailoring, in addition to the more efficient use of implementation strategies, not only for mental health problems, but possibly for other implementation problems in primary care as well.
