Longitudinal data collection from teachers of Dutch twins and their siblings
10 / 2011 - 12 / 2014
The developing child spends a significant amount of its time at school. To assess cognitive development and behavioural and emotional problems of children in classroom settings, standardized questionnaires have been developed (e.g. CITO pupil monitoring system; Teacher Report Form (TRF)). We aim to continue longitudinal data collection in Dutch twins and their siblings with the TRF and the CITO system in order to 1) assess the etiology of individual differences in these traits, 2) to assess the association between them, and 3) to assess if developmental trajectories in twins differ from those in singletons (i.e. their siblings).
